The 21-year-old picked up the injury during the 2-1 FA Cup win at Manchester United on Monday night and faces an all-important scan on Wednesday
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is facing injury heartbreak which could rule him out of England's next Euro 2016 qualifier.
Arsenal midfielder Oxlade-Chamberlain will have a scan on Wednesday on the hamstring injury which he suffered at Manchester United.
But Oxlade-Chamberlain fears a lay-off which would rule him out of the Wembley game with Lithuania and also the friendly in Italy at the end of the month.
England boss Roy Hodgson names his squad on Thursday, March 19, but Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere may have played by then.
Wilshere, who has been out after ankle surgery, is likely to be in the Arsenal squad for the Champions League return leg in Monaco next week.

They have won big games at both Manchester clubs and are on target to finish in the Champions League places and have also booked a return to Wembley in the FA Cup.
Arsenal defender Monreal said: "Everyone had memories of last season that we lost all the games against top teams.
"This season we played really well against City, we won and it was fair and it was the same against United. We played really well and are very happy for the victory.
"We have a good record in the FA Cup because last season we won it and we are again in the semi-final and we play at Wembley, which is an amazing stadium, with our fans, and we are very happy."
Monreal is refusing to take the semi final draw with Reading or Bradford lightly, especially with memories of Bradford knocking Arsenal out of the League Cup.
"You never know. We are the favourite in this game but in one game it is very difficult and we want to win the game," said Monreal.
