Cristiano Ronaldo’s big sister has claimed his ex Irina Shayk is “like a dead person.”
The football star’s low-key performances of late have been blamed on his break-up with his Russian girlfriend of five years.
Cristiano, 30, and Irina, 29, split at Christmas amid reports he called time on their relationship after she refused to attend a surprise birthday party for his beloved mum Dolores.
Victoria’s Secret beauty rubbished the reports - although she has since hinted at bad behaviour by the Real Madrid striker by claiming in an interview her perfect man would be “faithful and honest” and admitting to feeling “ugly and insecure” alongside the wrong person.
Cristiano’s older sister Elma admitted today that Cristiano’s split from Irina had knocked them for six.

But she insisted the model, who confirmed the break-up in January, was history.
She told Portuguese daily Correio da Manha: “Irina is like a dead person. We suffered with the separation but we have to carry on and get over it.
“Cristiano is fine with or without a woman at his side. He’s happy.
“This split was like that of any other couple. It’s over and that’s it. Now we move on.”
Elma, who runs Cristiano’s luxury clothes store in their native Madeira, made her comments in the northern city of Porto where she travelled to celebrate her 41st birthday.

Irina fuelled rumours she had dumped the Real Madrid striker over alleged infidelities by describing her perfect man as “faithful and honest” in a Spanish magazine interview last week.
She told Spanish society magazine Hola: My ideal man is faithful, honest and a gentleman who knows how to treat women.
“I don’t believe in men who make us feel unhappy, because they’re boys not men.
“I thought I had once found the ideal man but it didn’t turn out that way.”
She added: “I think a woman feels ugly when she’s got the wrong man at her side. I’ve felt ugly and insecure.”

Claiming it was best to end a relationship unless it was going well, the Victoria’s Secret beauty told the magazine: “Relationships are hard so you have to know what type of man you want by your side and what their values are, what is important in his life.
“If you stay with someone it’s because you’re walking in the same direction and you’re both looking for the same thing.
“Both should share the same concept of what a relationship means and the same energy to believe in a monogamous relationship.”

Cristiano accused Urach, 27, of “pure fiction and forgery” when she made her allegations in April 2013.
Two TV reporters linked to the striker since his break-up with Irina have been romantically linked to him - but both have denied any relationship.
Mexican Vanessa Huppenkothen said she had never met Cristiano.
Spaniard Lucia Villalon, now reporting on F1 racing for a Spanish TV station, said they had a “purely professional relationship” while she worked at Real Madrid’s in-house channel Real Madrid.
Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano scored 25 times for his team in the first four months of Spain’s La Liga but has only netted five times in the past three months.

He hit the post and narrowly missed out on a goal attributed to teammate Gareth Bale in his side’s 2-0 win against Levante yesterday/on Sunday.
He left the pitch alone at the final whistle while the rest of the team stayed behind to applaud fans for their support.
One Spanish sports paper claimed he was “in free-fall” and “a prisoner of anxiety” in the run-up to next Sunday’s crunch match against eternal rivals Barcelona.
