“Patrick texted and called like crazy to get a hold of Miley after the pictures came out to get Miley to talk to him and forgive him and prove to her that he did nothing wrong. But the one thing that won her over was something that he didn’t set up. His mom got a hold of Miley to tell her that her son wasn’t a bad guy and really cared for her and he wouldn’t do anything to ruin the relationship,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
Maria was just starting to warm up to Miley right before the scandalous photos of Patrick getting close with bikini-clad girls were published. After Miley saw them, she dumped him on the spot, a source told HollywoodLife.com. However, whether Maria liked Miley or not, she understood that Miley makes Patrick happy!
Once Miley heard from Maria she immediately reached out to Patrick, our source continued to tell HollywoodLife.com. Ironically, the photos of Patrick getting touchy-feely with other girls actually ended up improving the relationship between Miley and Patrick’s mom, Maria.
Maria’s phone call benefited everyone and now Patrick and Miley have kissed and made up!

Miley and Patrick were spotted amping up the PDA once again while enjoying a date after Patrick’s wild spring break. He’s clearly on his very best behavior around her now! In fact, as HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY told you, Patrick told Miley that he can’t live without her. So cute!
“He basically told Miley that he couldn’t live without her,” a source told us, adding “that she had his heart completely and that she was his soul mate. He’s been absolutely miserable without her.”
“He pretty much convinced her that absolutely nothing happened with any girls, including his ex in Cabo and that he’s absolutely miserable without her,” our source continued. “One thing that they both have in common is a really quirky sense of humor and once they started talking and he heard her laughing, he was in her good graces again.”
