Guts... or something to that effect: Sherwood has marked Aston Villa out as a "big club"
Aston Villa boss Tim Sherwood believes footballers need b******* to play for the club.
The former Spurs chief recorded his first win as Villa boss thanks to Christian Benteke's last-minute penalty against West Brom on Tuesday.
And, ahead of the Baggies' return to Villa Park on Saturday for the pair's FA Cup quarter-final, Sherwood is showing the optimism that has been pined for by the club's fans for the last five years.
"Playing for a big club comes with pressure. Anyone can do it for a lesser team — but you have to have b******s to play for Aston Villa. This is a big club," he told the Daily Mail.

Sherwood also denies the theory that the players at his disposal aren't cut out for life in the Premier League.
Despite languishing in 17th place in the table, the 46-year-old reckons he has a squad that should be pushing for European places - a position which Villa haven't been in since the reign of Martin O'Neill.
"I don’t think we’ve got a group of players who are cut out for a relegation battle. We can’t be the Crystal Palace of last year, or the West Brom of this year.
"Our squad is better on the ball, they’re more suited to pushing for a place in the Europa League."
